How to Download Your Music

Internet Explorer

This website does not support Internet Explorer. We believe it is in your best interest as a web user to avoid this browser because of terrible security flaws in the software and the lack of serious customer support provided by Microsoft for this program. We recommend Apple's Safari (available for both Windows and Mac systems) and Mozilla's Firefox. Google also recently released Chrome which uses the same rendering technology as Safari and is more secure than Internet Explorer.

Email

Be sure your email service isn't unneccessarily blocking our system's emails from reaching you. You may need to check your Spam or Junk mailbox if your filter is set high. Our email messages will always have a subject line that includes "[Piano Public Domain]". If you do receive emails that purport to be from pianopublicdomain.com, but do not have this in the subject line, it probably is being sent to you from a cloaking bot or spammer that is hijacking domain names in their email headers.

Logging In

Can't log in? You may be using the wrong password. If you run into issues here, it's best that you contact us with details and let our site administrators help.

An Important Message to Past Customers

On November 10, 2008, our server logs registered a malicious attempt to exploit our databases by an unknown hacker. While these kinds of attempts are not uncommon for high-traffic websites, they can be disastrous when website administrators avoid improving security measures or ignoring them altogether. We at Piano Public Domain respond to such malicious attempts as forcefully as we can, first, and foremost by responding immediately and improving security wherever we can. Rest assured, our system only saves encrypted passwords, so even if one can see your account information, he or she would have no way of knowing your password. Your account details used when purchasing credits are not saved in the system; only the transaction number, email address, password, and number of credits are saved. All other transaction details are handled via PayPal, which is managed by a complex security system monitored by some of the best web technicians in the world.

That being said, we opted to clean the databases and increase our security standards on Piano Public Domain. This meant that many accounts that had any risk of being compromised were deleted from the system. If your account falls into this category, you will probably notice that you cannot log into your account, or files you had downloaded previously don't appear in your account panel. Please contact us immediately with your account details (email address is fine), and we'll restore your account, plus credit your account to make up for the troubles. If you have any other questions regarding our security measures, please feel free to contact us, and we'll provide you with more details about your account in particular. Thank you for your patience; your identity is important to us, and we work hard to make sure your account on Piano Public Domain is safe.
